Kostya Leontovich presented music video Against The Flow

 

Young performer Kostya Leontovich, who recently released his solo English album, presented a new video for the title track of release "Against The Flow". The video was directed by Ekaterina Bereza. According to her idea, Kostya played a guy, who lived with his eyes closed, but accidentally he tripped over and regained his sight. Since then everything he came in contact with, was getting better or changed. For instance, a loving couple quarreled, but immediately made it up, and a weary traveler - felt the strength to move on. And everything that was required from a guy who recently opened his eyes - only to walk past. He ostensibly emited a force of kindness and helping others. And after a while he realizes that the event is happening because of him and continues on his way against the flow of this world.
The song touches the theme of human faith, hopes and expectations, and the video for this composition will give you a lot of good emotions and positive mood. Quite soon "Against The Flow" will appear broadcast on TV channels and in the meantime you have an unique opportunity to see this music video on a worldwide video resource YouTube.

Kostya Leontovich Releases EP "Against The Flow"

The flow of our complicated world sometimes forces us to swim against its current as an expression of disagreement. It is a challenge for both young and old from all walks of life to find themselves in a happy society. Our faith in God can help us to survive and our hope of better life can lead us forward. These thoughts are the foundation of Kostya Leontovich's latest EP entitled "Against The Flow." This album emerges in a different way than Kostya’s previous EP and singles (A Christmas Song and Heavenly Atmosphere).
This talented musician began composing and recording his album in late February, and actually recorded it independently, playing almost all instruments. Kostya also acted as a sound producer for this release. During its development, Kostya experimented with a variety of options and sounds that surpassed expectations. How so? By recording this in his home-grown studio known as SoundSсript.
"Against The Flow" includes five original songs, which in the opinion of the artist are difficult to attribute to any particular style. The EP has turned out very different and even somewhat experimental with Christian themes mixed with alternative rock. The tracks of the album are full of effortless joy, and they are easy to listen to and enjoy. Kostya's superb sound and beautiful poetic English lyrics demonstrated that he is not only a great musician, but an musical innovator worth paying attention to. Kostya has truly picked up the torch as the new face of contemporary Christian music originating from the ancient Christian lands of Kievan Rus'.

EP album this summer

Kostya Leontovich, vocalist and guitarist of the band PICK-UP, will release his solo EP album, titled "Against The Flow" this summer at iUA Music. Musician, began recording his debut EP in late February, and actually recorded it independently, playing almost all instrumental parts. Leontovich also acted as a sound producer of the release. "Against The Flow" will include five original compositions, which in the opinion of the artist difficult to attribute to any particular style. EP has turned out very different and even somehow experimental.
The recording process has been completed and now the album at the mixing stage.

Ukraine. There are many Christmas songs written specifically for the holiday season. Many of them have become traditional songs, sung by children and adults on Christmas Eve. Almost every year an artist will develop a new song about the birth of Christ and the joy of the Christmas season. The leader of the Ukrainian band PICK-UP, Kostya Leontovich, recently released a Christmas EP "A Christmas song", thus continuing the series of new celebratory songs.   

The song was written on threshold of the holiday and therefore very clearly conveys a festive mood. In the release you will find the original composition recorded in three languages - English, Ukrainian and Russian, as well as an instrumental version of the track. The music, text and arrangement, as well as recording of the instruments were all the work of Kostya in the studio. The song is about the bright and joyful moments of Christmas and focuses on the centerpiece of such joy.   

The pleasant melody of this song will transfer the Christmas spirit to every home in many parts of world. In a recent interview,  Kostya had this to say about his composition: "This holiday is very special and I always wanted to write something like this. While I was preparing for a recent Christmas show, I was inspired to write a Christmas song and perform it at the concert. I recorded the song in three languages and also added the instrumental version to the EP as a sing-along version for everyone to enjoy."
